OUR HISTORY
In 1959, Bill Stock took his first trip to the Thousand Islands. After that very first trip, he realized this was not a one-time vacation stop. The area had something magical about it: the stunning beauty of a river dotted with over 1800 unique islands, the endless outdoor adventures, the serene small town feel, and the hospitality of the local people.

What started out as a small fishing trip with a few friends had turned into an annual escape, not only for Bill, but his entire family.

Bill, and his son Michael, decided to take their love of the river and area, and revitalized an old fishing camp. And, in 2009, nearly 5 decades after Bill's first visit to the region, Riverbay Adventure Inn was established.

From the very beginning, our goals have been to improve our accommodations and offerings, provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, and be affordable for people to enjoy the beautiful Thousand Island region. We hope you come out and visit; we would love to help you make it just as memorable as Bill's was!
