At Riverbay Adventure Inn, one of our
favorite activities is simply relaxing from the everyday grind.
Whether it is enjoying a beautiful sunrise or sunset from our
shoreline, watching a great blue heron take flight across the
bay, or sitting back and breathing in the clean crisp
north-country air in our few square miles of paradise. However,
relaxation doesn't have to mean sitting still! There is always
something to do at Riverybay. Below is a list of activities you
can participate in.
Fishing: The thousands Islands Region is known
as one of the world's premier fishing destinations. Catches of
small and large mouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskie,
catfish, carp, bluegills, yellow perch, and rock bass are just
outside your door. Try your luck form our docks, bring your own
boat, or rent one of ours.

Kayaking: The Thousands Islands has become a
world class sea kayaking destination. Riverybay’s unique
location offers protected paddling in the bay and nearby creeks,
while at the same time allowing the more experienced and
adventurous paddlers easy access to open water. The diversity of
the area makes for an incredible paddling adventure. You can
even plan a stop over at the nearby island state park to stretch
your legs or enjoy a picnic. By kayaking you are able to see the
region in a unique environmentally friendly way and explore
areas that are not accessible by motorized crafts. Feel free to
bring your own kayak, or rent one of ours.
Scuba Diving: Our stretch of the St. Lawrence
River is a top dive area rivaling areas as the Caribbean and has
been featured in diving magazines. Riverbay Adventure Inn is
minutes away from two of the most prominent wrecks in the St.
Lawrence area; the America and Keystorm. In addition to these
wrecks and other nearby wrecks there are numerous locations very
close by to see the amazing underwater landscape. As a result of
the presence of the Zebra Mussel, visibility is outstanding and
often upwards of sixty feet! Riverbay will be teaming with local
PDAI certified dive operators this season for you to take full
advantage of these opportunities. Please inquire with our staff
for more information.
Hot Air Ballooning: For an incredible aerial
experience try nearby Champagne Balloon Adventures. Flying,
depending on weather conditions, seven days per week two times
per day, this is truly a memorable experience. There are also
scenic flight seeing tours by helicopter and plane available in
town.
Golf: The Thousand Islands Region provides some twenty golf
courses within convenient range by automobile. A few links are
accessible by boat, such as the Thousand Islands Country Club
and the Grenadier Island Country Club. Riverbay is near several
of the areas premier courses. We would be happy to assist you in
reserving tee times. For the younger golfers in your group there
is mini-golf in town.
Tennis: There are several courts available in
the nearby area.
